Join us as a Vehicle Technician at HiQ Tyres & Autocare

We are excited to offer a full-time, permanent position for a Vehicle Technician at our Kings Lynn Centre. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a half-day finish on Saturdays. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability according to DVSA standards.
2. Using dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for efficient repairs.
3. Performing repairs and maintenance following manufacturer standards and schedules.
4. Discussing required repairs with customers and providing cost and time estimates.
5. Maintaining health and safety standards and working within company guidelines.
6. Completing job cards, maintenance records, and related paperwork accurately.
7. Carrying out additional duties to support the store's operations.
8. Performing administrative tasks as needed and assisting with stock checks.

Requirements:

• Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience.
• Full driver’s license with no more than 9 points.
• Experience with vehicle servicing, including brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning.
