Job summary

Steven Eagell Limited in Ipswich is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards, delivering high-quality workmanship and an excellent customer experience.

You should be a Level 3 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician with at least 2 years of automotive experience; MOT Tester preferred. You will work in a team, attend specialist training, and support apprentices while maintaining safe workshop practices.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Level 3 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults, including non-routine issues.
• Complete all work within allocated time with strong productivity and efficiency.
• Identify and report defects in line with MOT and Vehicle Safety Report requirements.
• Take responsibility for tools and workshop equipment and report defects.
• Follow Toyota and Centre processes, working safely and professionally.
• Support and coach apprentice technicians and attend specialist training.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Centre team to deliver outstanding service to customers.
