Job summary

Steven Eagell Group in Wolverhampton is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to service, diagnose faults, and perform maintenance to Toyota GB standards. You will inspect vehicles, report defects, and ensure work is completed within allocated times while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The role requires a Level 2 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician qualification, at least 2 years in automotive work, and a full UK driving licence. MOT Tester qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Level 2 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
• MOT Tester qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Toyota GB technical standards
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults, including non-routine issues
• Identify and report defects in line with MOT and VSR requirements
• Complete work within allocated time with strong productivity
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment and report defects
• Follow Toyota and Centre processes and work safely
• Communicate with customers clearly about work needed or completed
• Support and coach apprentice technicians
• Attend required specialist training to maintain expertise
• Work with the Centre team to deliver outstanding service
