Job description

Job Opportunity: Motor Vehicle Technician in Huddersfield

Our client, a well-known vehicle rental business with over 35 years of experience and a nationwide fleet of over 55,000 vehicles, is seeking a Vehicle Technician in the Huddersfield area.

Salary & Working Hours

• Basic Salary up to £36,000 DOE
• OTE up to £41,940 DOE
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 12:00pm (paid at time and a half)
• Full training provided

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Level 2/3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Qualification required
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and warranty work on a fleet of vehicles, including vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance
• Ensure vehicles are returned to the road promptly, maintaining high customer service standards

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ or City and Guilds Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Technology with solid workshop experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and compliance
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Team-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service
