Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a reputable main dealer in Milton Keynes. This role offers career progression, competitive earnings, and ongoing professional development.

Basic salary up to £37,000 with a realistic OTE of £44,000+. Manufacturer training, pension, life assurance, and employee discounts are included. A Level 3 qualification and full UK driving licence are required, with MOT licencing advantageous.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic and servicing skills.
• MOT licence would be advantageous; training can be provided.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnostics, fault finding, and warranty repairs.
• Completing routine maintenance tasks such as oil services, brake work, and cambelt replacements.
• Performing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs).
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation.
• Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Collaborating with the workshop team to meet productivity and quality targets.
