Job summary

Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is seeking a Tyre Fitter/Technician to join our workshop team. You will carry out tyre fitting, inspections and fast-fit services on BMW and MINI vehicles using manufacturer-approved equipment and guidance, delivering quality workmanship and customer service.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00–17:00 with Saturday on a rota; earn up to £33,050 OTE per annum and benefit from extensive leave, private healthcare, a pension, and employee car ownership schemes across a

Qualifications

• Experience as Tyre Fitter or Vehicle Technician in a garage/fast-fit.
• Eligible to work in the UK with a valid, clean UK driving licence.
• Proactive, adaptable with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 with Saturday rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle inspections and assess tyre requirements.
• Fit, remove and replace tyres on BMW and MINI vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform four-wheel alignment and adjust vehicle geometry using specialist equipment and check TPMS.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while delivering excellent customer service.
• Work closely with the Parts Department to manage tyre stock and report losses or damage.
• Complete tyre safety checks and ensure all work meets manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Ensure tools, equipment and the workshop are clean, safe and well maintained.

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter or Vehicle Technician in a garage or fast-fit workshop environment.
• Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid, clean UK Driving Licence.
• A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to support colleagues
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and proficient driving skills.

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm, with Saturday on a rota.
