Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced PDI/Service Technician for a busy Bedford dealership. You will perform Pre Delivery Inspections, routine servicing, and safety checks, using digital workshop systems and iPads to document work.

Applicants should have Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance, prior technician experience, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. Salary up to £38,997 plus bonus. 45 hours per week, weekends on rota.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a PDI/Service/Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on customer and fleet vehicles.
• Complete routine servicing, including oil and filter changes.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe and ready for customer delivery.
• Complete digital job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Follow workshop processes and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Use digital workshop systems and iPads as part of the repair and inspection process.

PDI / Service Technician Bedford

We are recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician, Service Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy dealership in Bedford. Applicants must have previous Technician or Mechanic experience, hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £38,997 depending on experience + Bonus
Hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota

• Experience carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections and basic servicing is desirable
• Comfortable using digital workshop systems and iPads
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
