Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a Performance Technician for a renowned dealership, focusing on luxury and performance vehicles. You will carry out maintenance, repairs and diagnostics with high standards of quality and safety, using Porsche diagnostics and specialist tools.

You will work with a skilled team in a well-equipped workshop, have opportunities for training and development, and enjoy a supportive environment with regular team events and brand exposure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Master Technician or Technician in premium/performance vehicles.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on luxury and performance vehicles to high standards.
• Utilise Porsche diagnostics system and specialised tools to identify issues.
• Work on a diverse range of vehicles, including classic models and modern performance cars.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and minor repairs, meeting daily targets.

Duties

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on luxury and performance vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
• Utilise Porsche diagnostics system and specialised tools to identify issues accurately
• Work on a diverse range of vehicles, including classic models and modern performance cars
• Assist with vehicle inspections, MOTs (if qualified), and minor repairs, working proactively to achieve daily targets
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all work complies with safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and communicate openly about job progress and technical challenges

Client spec

• Proven experience as a Master Technician or Technician, ideally with a background in premium or performance vehicles
• A passion for high-performance and luxury cars, with an eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, with minimal micro-management
• MOT licence is an advantage but not essential; willingness to develop skills further is appreciated
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on older and challenging vehicle components
• Good communication skills and a professional appearance
• Kitted with relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in motor vehicle maintenance and repairs
