Marshall Volvo Derby is seeking skilled Service, Diagnostic or Master Technicians to join our dynamic aftersales team. You will diagnose and resolve complex issues, mentor colleagues, and contribute to workshop performance in a well-equipped facility.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diagnostic or Master Technician with Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience across any manufacturer brands welcomed, not just Volvo.
• Strong experience in complex diagnostics, servicing, electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
• Delivers high-quality workmanship following processes and safety standards.
• Mentor mindset with passion for sharing expertise and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance work on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Complete mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, in line with manufacturer standards.
• Carry out complex diagnostics, fault finding, warranty and repair work.
• Complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, in line with manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve difficult technical issues.
• Support and mentor less experienced Technicians, sharing knowledge and helping to drive workshop performance.

Service Technician - £38,153 + Bonus
Diagnostic or Master Technician - £42,869 -£47,985 + Bonus

At Marshall Volvo Derby, we're offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service, Diagnostic or Master Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. This is a pivotal role within our workshop, where your expertise will be relied upon to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while helping to develop and support the wider technician team.

You’ll be joining a dynamic and ambitious workshop team of 10, including Technicians ranging from PDI through to Master Technician and MOT Tester level, creating an excellent environment for collaboration, mentoring and continuous learning.

In this role:

We're looking for:
