Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited presents an opportunity for an experienced Prep Technician at a busy main dealership in Doncaster. You will carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs, prepare vehicles to workshop and manufacturer standards, and diagnose faults.

The role requires a minimum of three years' garage experience, a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and a Full UK Driving Licence. MOT tester licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Three years' garage experience required.
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare vehicles to workshop/manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs per procedures.
• Complete MOT testing duties where qualified.
• Maintain accurate workshop records and high workmanship standards.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Prep Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Doncaster. Applicants must have at least three years' garage experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) and possess a Full UK Driving Licence. An MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential.

Location: Doncaster

Salary: Up to £34,00 Basic + Bonus + Overtime

OTE:Up to £46,800

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (Non-Contractual)

Prep Technician Role
