Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician in Croydon at around £41,000 per year, plus a company bonus and overtime at time-and-a-half. The role is Monday to Friday in a professional workshop.

You will service and repair vehicles, diagnose faults, and assist with MOT testing as needed. Relevant Level 3 NVQ/IMI and workshop experience are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Experience as Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills and a reliable, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out inspections and routine maintenance.
• Completing work to a high standard in line with safety regulations.
• Supporting MOT testing where required.
