Job summary

Expleo Group in Cranfield seeks Skilled/Semi Skilled Vehicle Technicians to support vehicle R&D, testing, and safety checks. You will prepare vehicles, assist with dyno and emission tests, and liaise with engineers to meet client standards.

The role involves instrumentation setup, report writing, and hands-on maintenance and testing in a collaborative environment. The position requires IMI Level 3 for skilled or IMI Level 2 for semi-skilled roles, with workshop experience and a background in

• Assist with facility management inclusive of maintenance, facility calibration, risk assessment and training.
• Learn bespoke client systems required to fulfil role.

Job description

We are currently looking for Skilled/Semi Skilled Vehicle Technicians to assist in the following areas of vehicle research and development

• Electrical Testing (including Connected Car)
• Dyno & Emission Testing
• General vehicle-based servicing, test preparation and safety checks (Control Room activities)

Responsibilities

• Preparation of vehicles or parts for special uses including Test use.

• Vehicle Technician, IMI Level 3 for skilled roles

Experience

• Workshop experience for semi skilled roles.
• Workshop experience for skilled roles.
• Previous experience of working in a vehicle build/prototype environment would be desirable.
