Job summary

Wessex Garages Holdings Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our modern workshop in South Wales. You’ll carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles with a focus on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction.

We offer full manufacturer training, ongoing support, and opportunities to develop within a busy aftersales team. A full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are required; main dealer

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

• Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm Mon – Fri. Saturdays on a rota
