Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a market leading vehicle specialist company based in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, ensuring high quality craftsmanship and vehicle repairs are carried out effectively.

As a Vehicle Technician you will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, perform health checks and complete accurate service reports, while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment.
• Able to diagnose systems and fault find on a range of vehicles.
• Ability to work confidently and accurately on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Performing thorough vehicle health checks and reporting issues to the service advisor.
• Working to manufacturer service and repair standards.
• Completing job cards and service reports with accuracy.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Work Saturdays on rota.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment
• Able to diagnose systems and easily fault find on a range of vehicles
• Ability to work confidently and accurately on your own initiative with minimal supervision
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

Desirable:

• MOT Tester certification
• Manufacturer specific training
