Job summary

Lithia UK is seeking a BYD Technician in Bury with a flexible 4-day week option and a choice of 40 or 42.5 hours. You will join a team offering a £2,000 joining bonus, a solid base salary and uncapped OTE, plus extensive manufacturer training.

Key requirements include Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK driving licence, and a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle service and repair work.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience with cam belt and clutch replacements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Technical knowledge to safely repair and maintain vehicles.
• Commitment to high quality standards and productivity targets.
• Ability to use workshop systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnose faults and carry out appropriate remedial work.
• Assist with vehicle servicing and safety checks as required.

FLEXIBLE 4 DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE - This can be discussed at interview stage, as well as the option of a 40 or 42.5 hour working week

Why Evans Halshaw:

• Basic Salary from £30,185 up to £42,371 - Dependent on skills and experience
• OTE from £32,615 up to £46,601, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL
• PTE ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 for Vehicle Technicians & £50,000 - £55,000 for Diagnostic & Master Technicians

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
