Our client in Buckley is hiring a Vehicle Technician. No formal qualifications required; you can be put through IMI and Hybrid qualifications. The role covers light and full-service work and fast-fit duties across multiple vehicle makes.

You will join a busy workshop with a clear path for career progression, ongoing training, and a robust benefits package. Salary is £32,000–£34,000 plus uncapped OTE and weekend rota opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no formal qualifications required).
• Willing to learn and develop knowledge of Hybrid cars.
• Passion for the automotive industry and desire to progress.

Responsibilities

• Light and full-service work on customer vehicles.
• Fast-fit duties: brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts.
• Operate wheel alignment machinery and interpret readings.
• Carrying out tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements and repairs.
• Collaborate with workshop team to hit targets.

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Buckley.

As aVehicle Technicianyou would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role, our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Buckley

Pay / salary: Basic: £32,000 to £34,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:

• Light and full-service work
• Fast fit duties such as, Replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence - Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
