Job summary

Perfect Placement is assisting a reputable dealership in Nottingham in their search for a skilled Vehicle Technician. The role offers a solid base salary with OTE potential and a clear path for career development in a busy workshop.

You'll service, inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. The position is full-time, with weekday hours and alternate Saturday shifts, and requires Level 3 qualification and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Proven experience in a dealership or busy workshop setting.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, and inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Complete scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Identify additional work requirements through comprehensive vehicle inspections
• Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and organisation
• Ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks
