Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician at a prestige main dealer in Bradford. A competitive basic salary up to £48,800, plus £4,000 sign-on and earn-from-overtime potential, awaits the right candidate. The role includes a 40-hour week, extensive manufacturer training, and a clear career progression path.

You will diagnose, repair to manufacturer standards, mentor apprentices, and deliver excellent customer service within a respected dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in automotive maintenance.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT licence desirable but not essential.
• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults.
• Complete work in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Liaise with service advisors, customers and senior management.
• Inspect vehicles for wear and faults.
• Assist in mentoring apprentices technicians.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.

• Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards

• Inspect vehicles for general wear and tear or faults
• Assist in mentoring and developing apprentice technicians
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required

Requirements:

• Relevant formal qualification such as Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Own set of tools
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT licence desirable but not essential
• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician with experience in a dealership environment
