Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a well-established franchise dealership in Lincoln. The role offers a basic salary up to £38,150 with an OTE around £45,000 and a 45-hour working week in a supportive, stable dealer group.

You will perform mechanical repairs, servicing, fault diagnostics and ensure work meets manufacturer standards. Training and benefits accompany a secure working environment with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in a main dealer or independent workshop environment.
• Valid MOT licence is highly desirable but not essential.
• Ability to perform a full range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a full range of mechanical repairs and servicing on vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and within set timeframes.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Assist and guide junior staff members as required as a Vehicle Technician.
• Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately.
• Support the workshop team in achieving daily productivity targets.
