Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Borehamwood is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair our fleet, ensuring safety and legal compliance for customers to hire. If you are a Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years’ experience, or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic, we’d love to hear from you.

Set in a peaceful countryside location, the team is close-knit and offers opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and legal compliance for customers to hire.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and diagnostics as required.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high standards of workmanship.

42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

About you

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

About our training

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
