Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Barking is seeking a Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair our vehicle fleet ensuring safety and compliance for hire. The role requires Level 2 Technician status with 3+ years of hands-on experience or Level 3 Technician/Mechanic, and readiness for a 42.5-hour week with paid overtime as needed.

The site offers internal IMI accredited training and a strong team culture, with extensive benefits and generous holiday entitlement.

About you:

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you areLevel 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

About our training:

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
