Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Croydon to maintain and repair our rental fleet. The role requires Level 2 or Level 3 technician qualifications and a solid track record in automotive repair.

You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with access to IMI accredited training and a strong benefits package. The role includes a generous salary, overtime opportunities, and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire.
• If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
