Job summary

Evans Halshaw is seeking a Vauxhall Technician at the Bedford site to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles. You will work a 4-day rotating pattern, with no weekend shifts, on a 45-hour week (also options for 40 or 42.5 hours) and enjoy a joining bonus of £2,000.

Basic salary ranges from £33,643 to £47,225, with OTE from £36,073 to £51,455. Benefits include 33 days of holiday, pension, life assurance, and generous discounts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles to high quality standards.
• Diagnose faults and carry out required servicing in a safe workshop environment.
• Work within a team to meet productivity targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

FLEXIBLE 4-DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE – Salaries are based on a 45 hour working week. Alternative 40 and 42.5-hour working patterns are also available and can be discussed at interview stage.

NO WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED - Monday to Friday only!

• Basic Salary from £33,643 up to £47,225 - Dependent on skills and experience
• OTE from £36,073 up to £51,455, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL
• PTE ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 for Vehicle Technicians & £50,000 - £55,000 for Diagnostic & Master Technicians

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles

• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
