Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician for our Banbury workshop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, using diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues while keeping detailed records. The role demands a strong focus on quality and customer communication.

With a 8:30am–5:15pm schedule, 1 in 4 Saturdays, you’ll join a nationwide company offering progression, benefits, and a supportive environment to grow your automotive career.

Qualifikationen

• Must have Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to communicate with customers about issues and solutions.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Salary: Up to £36,000 + bonus £45,000 OTE (Uncapped bonus based on time saved).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:15pm, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8am – 12pm.
