Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join an established independent garage. The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, with Saturday morning rota is expected, along with a supportive management structure. The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 3 (time served considered) and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities for training and development within a

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on various vehicles.
• Carry out diagnosis and servicing/repair work efficiently.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete repair/service records as required by lead/supervisor.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality of customer information.
• Analyze work orders to understand vehicle condition and required work.

Duties of a Technician with our Client

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints.
• Carry out diagnosis and undertake a wide range of servicing and repair work.
• Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensures effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
• Builds effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager require.
• Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
• Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.
