Jiggle Asset Management LTD in Bristol is seeking an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a busy independent garage. The role focuses on delivering MOT tests, vehicle inspections and reliable repairs in a professional workshop.

You will work to DVSA regulations, maintain documentation, and engage in ongoing training. The team offers a stable, full-time position with a modern facility and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester licence (DVSA recognised).
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems.
• Experience with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• High attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Inspect brakes, suspension, tyres, lights and exhaust.
• Identify faults and advise on repairs.
• Complete accurate inspection documents.
• Support with minor repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain clean, safe workshop environment.
• Keep up to date with MOT standards.

MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician - Bristol

Permanent | Full-Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable independent garage in the Bristol area, looking to add a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a passion for vehicle safety to join a professional and supportive workshop environment.

The Role:

• Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
• Inspecting key vehicle components including brakes, suspension, tyres, lights and exhaust systems
• Identifying faults and advising on necessary repairs
• Completing accurate documentation for all inspections and tests
• Supporting with minor repairs and adjustments where required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Keeping up to date with MOT and industry standards

What We're Looking For:

• Valid MOT Tester licence (DVSA recognised)
• Strong mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle systems
• Experience using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
