Job summary

Pertemps Daventry is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established Automotive Garage based in Daventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester looking to secure a long-term position with a supportive employer offering excellent career prospects.

You will carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, complete documentation, report defects, and maintain a safe, clean workshop while working as part of a team to

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Mechanics (essential).
• Valid MOT Tester licence.
• Experience in a busy workshop.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Accurately complete all MOT documentation and records.
• Identify and report any defects or repair requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work effectively as part of the workshop team to meet daily targets.

The Role as an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards while ensuring vehicles are tested safely and efficiently. You will also work closely with the workshop team to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
