Job summary

Halfords in Worcester is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services, plus any follow-up repair work. You will handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension as part of a busy Autocentre and retail environment.

The role offers a base salary of £32,000 with on-target earnings up to £35,600 and an uncapped monthly bonus average of £3,600 per year, plus generous benefits and a 5-day week schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and any follow-up repair and replacement work.
• Undertake tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension tasks as required.
• Maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness in line with Halfords standards.
