Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Harrogate (North Yorkshire) is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services along with repairs including tyres, brakes and suspension. The role is full-time at our Autocentres.

We offer an uncapped bonus scheme with average earnings and generous leave and staff discounts. A Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance or time-served experience is required, plus a full driving licence with up to 9 points.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as well as follow up repair and replacement work (tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others).
