Job summary

Halfords Group PLC is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Plymouth, Devon. The role covers interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repairs, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

You will need a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time‑served experience, plus a full UK licence with up to 9 points. We offer a structured career path within the Autocentres business, an uncapped bonus scheme with typical earnings, and generous leave and staff

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repair work.
• Carrying out tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks.
• Work within Halfords Autocentres to ensure quality service.
