Job summary

Halfords in Harrogate is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services and related repairs, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension. This full-time centre operates five days a week and is closed on Sundays.

Applicants should have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served) and a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus repair/replacement work (brakes, suspension, steering, air con).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repairs and replacement work.
• Tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks included.
