Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Service Technician in the UK to perform interim, full and major services and follow‑up repairs within our Autocentres. You will work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety for customers.

The role supports career progression through hybrid training and ATA/MOT qualifications, with generous benefits and a clear path to advance within Halfords Group.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and any follow up repair work.
• Replace tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension components as required.
• Support diagnostic checks and customer vehicle servicing as part of the Halfords Autocentres team.
