Job summary

Ocean BMW in Falmouth is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our high-performing workshop. You will service, diagnose, and repair BMWs using the latest technology, supported by a structured career progression and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle or Service Technician.
• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Team player and reliable.
• Experience in franchised or prestige dealerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on BMW vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using BMW systems.
• Inspect vehicles for wear and damage.
• Replace/repair parts to BMW standards.
• Complete software updates and retrofit work.
• Support apprentices and fellow technicians.

Salary & Benefits

• Qualified Technician Basic salary depending on experience and qualifications
• Realistic OTE of £40,000 to £45,000+ (Salary Dependent)
• Plus annual loyalty bonus of up to £1200 paid in December
• Senior Diagnostic Technician £35,000 £40,000 basic salary depending on experience and qualifications

What Youll Be Doing

As a BMW Vehicle Technician, youll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across the BMW range using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems. Your day-to-day will include:

• Has experience as a Vehicle or Service Technician
• Holds Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Has a full UK driving licence

• Experience within a franchised or prestige dealership would be an advantage, but attitude and motivation are just as important.
