Job summary

Stripe Recruitment has a vacancy for an experienced Vehicle Quality Controller / Bodyshop Prepper in Enfield. The role focuses on prepping and QC to high standards within a busy bodyshop environment. You will work on panel prep, masking, corrosion removal, sanding, filling, priming and polishing, with deadlines and health and safety in mind.

A minimum of 2 years refurb or accident repair experience is required; NVQ/ATA is advantageous. Job Type: Permanent, Full-time. Salary: £38,000–£42,000.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities

My client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Quality Controller / Bodyshop Prepper / Polisher and is offering an attractive, negotiable salary and an up-to-date and organised working environment.

Applicants will be experienced in vehicle QC and prepping, confident in your ability to work effectively, efficiently and to a high standard.

As a Vehicle Prepper, you will be focusing on deadlines while being aware of health and safety in your working environment.

Responsibilities will involve (but not limited to):

• Prepping vehicle panels, including masking, removing corrosion, sanding, filling, priming and polishing
• QualityControlling checking work, ensuring there are no defects, and report any issues to the line manager

Candidates must:

• Have a minimum of 2 years refurbishment or accident repair experience
• Have all prepping skills
• Have proven experience of delivering high-quality repairs
• Be confident in your ability and skills
• Be able to manage your own workload, working well as part of a team
• Be able to meet targets and deadlines, working effectively under pressure
• Work within all company and Health and Safety guidelines

ATA and/or NVQ qualification will be an advantage but not essential if you have the skills and experience.
