Job summary

Endeavour Automotive Limited in Knebworth is seeking a Vehicle Preparation Technician to prepare new and used cars to the highest standards for sale and handover to customers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements and meeting turnaround and delivery timelines.

Successful candidates will hold NVQ level 2/3 and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar automotive prep role, with the ability to deliver high-quality prep and maintain strong teamwork in a thriving group.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2/3 required.
• 2 years’ experience in automotive prep preferred.
• Ability to prepare cars to a high standard for sale and delivery.

• Prepare new and used cars to the highest standards for sale and handover.
• Work in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety and turnaround times.

We currently have a superb opportunity for a Vehicle Preparation Technician to work in our prep centre in Knebworth.

What you’ll do

This role will undertake preparing new and used cars the highest standards ready for sale and handover to our customers . Working in line with manufacturers’ and regulatory requirements to meet expectations of turnaround time, delivery date and overall quality and safety standards.

Who you are

As a self-motivated and results oriented Technician you will undertake New Car Pre-Delivery Inspections and also the preparation of used cars ready for sale in our retail centres within Group. Using your organisation skills and keen eye for detail you will manage varying workloads whilst taking pride in developing strong working relationships with colleagues.

Your experience

To be successful in this role you will hold a recognised qualification in NVQ level 2/3. For this role you must have the following:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3
• The ability to prepare cars to a high standard for sale and delivery to customers
• Take an innovative approach to achieving personal and shared goals
