Cormac operates in-house vehicle and plant maintenance workshops across Cornwall. We seek a Vehicle/Plant Technician to service, inspect and maintain light and heavy plant equipment, including fault diagnosis, across multiple sites.
The role requires NVQ 3 or equivalent, a willingness to work overtime and be on-call, and accurate documentation. A full UK LGV licence is desirable and Cormac supports safety and teamwork across locations.
Cormac operates their own in-house vehicle and plant maintenance workshops within three locations across Cornwall.We are seeking a Vehicle/Plant Technician to cover the service, inspection and maintenance of light and heavy plant equipment.
The bulk of our work is the maintenance of the Councils’ extensive and variedplant equipment ranging from chainsaws toRubblemaster rock crushers. We also support a number of external companiesby providing a maintenance service for their plant and this is a key growth area of our business.
Flexibility and adaptability are required to meet customer expectations and service demands including working overtime and participation in an on-call rota. The workload is varied and will cover electrical tasks and fault diagnosis. You will be required to complete documentation accurately andpromptly and abide by our zero harm health and safety policy. This role offers the successful applicant a very diverse and interesting workload.
