Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited offers a one-year student placement in Enstone within the Vehicle Performance group. You will analyse car behavior, develop simulation tools, and contribute to race strategy and setup decisions under the guidance of race engineers and simulation specialists.

The role requires an engineering student in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace/Motorsport, strong analytical skills, and experience with MATLAB, Python, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking penultimate-year placement.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Interest in vehicle dynamics and motorsport.

Responsibilities

• Analyse telemetry and simulation data to understand car performance.
• Develop and validate vehicle models and simulation tools.
• Contribute to setup optimisation and race strategy analysis.
• Prepare performance reports for race weekends and tests.
• Collaborate with technical teams to share data insights.
