Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a Paint Sprayer for rolling stock vehicles in Milton Keynes. The role involves applying paint and finishes, preparing surfaces, and ensuring high quality across vehicle components.

You will operate spray guns, mix paints, and maintain equipment, following safety procedures and environmental guidelines. Shifts include Earlies/Afters and Nights, with Inside IR35 employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport body repair or paint preparation is essential.
• Experience with water-based paints is required.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking before painting.
• Mix and apply paints and finishes to achieve specified colours and textures.
• Set up and calibrate spray equipment; maintain and clean tools.
• Inspect finished surfaces and perform touch-ups to meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; handle hazardous materials properly.
• Coordinate with team and report issues to supervisors promptly.
