ATA Vehicle Paint Sprayer Opportunity

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer, from either a bodyshop or accident repair background, to join a prestigious accident repair centre recognized in the industry.

Our client is growing rapidly, with ongoing business acquisitions and growth, offering secure and financially stable employment in a leading company within the field.

The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter

1. Painting repaired vehicles to a high standard
2. Using up-to-date water-based paint systems
3. Preparing vehicles for painting by hand or machine
4. Mixing and matching paint accurately, using eye or computer technology
5. Applying primer and finishing coats with spray guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
6. Touching up paintwork and polishing vehicles
7. Knowledge of blending paintwork is essential
8. Removing masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork
9. Applying rust-proofing chemicals to vehicles
10. Spraying paint over entire vehicles
11. Working within spray booths to confine paint application to specific areas
12. Comfortable working in a painting environment
13. Must have experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer

Job Experience Requirements

1. Car painting skills and technical knowledge, experience in accident repair and bodyshop industry
2. Consistently maintaining high standards with customer satisfaction in mind
3. Applying skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality work
4. Owning your own spray guns
5. ATA or Level 3 qualification is advantageous
