An exciting opportunity has arisen for Car Painter / Paint Sprayer with 8 years of experience to join a well-established car dealership. This full-time role offers a salary range of GBP25,000 - GBP50,000 and benefits.

Role Overview

As a Car Painter / Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, restoring surfaces to showroom condition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, priming, and blocking.
2. Identifying surface imperfections and carrying out appropriate repairs.
3. Blending and matching paint to achieve a consistent finish.
4. Operating spray equipment with precision for basecoat and clearcoat applications.
5. Repairing dents, scratches, and blemishes with care and accuracy.
6. Conducting quality checks to ensure finished work meets the required standards.
7. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Car Painter, Prepper, Paint Sprayer, Spray Painter, Painter, or similar role in automotive body repair or collision centers.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based paint systems.
• Familiarity with paint mixing, matching, and application techniques.
• Proficiency with spray guns, sanders, and other automotive painting tools.
• Excellent color perception and matching skills.
