Job summary

RMS Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Paint Prepper for our Corby workshop. You will prep vehicles for paint, perform masking, sanding, priming, buffing and polishing to ensure a high-quality finish.

The role runs Monday to Friday with a rotating early/late shift (6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm). Candidates must be over 22, possess a valid driver’s license with under six penalty points and have prior vehicle prepping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle prepping.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• No DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for skilled staff members to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service prepping our vehicles for paint, ensuring our clients receive nothing but the highest standard of service.

Location: Corby

Position: Vehicle Paint Prepper

Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Working weekly shift rotation 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm

Salary: £15.95p/h, increasing up to £19.14 including unsociable hours and overtime premiums.

About you?

• To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
• Previous Vehicle Prepping experience is required.
• Reliable and responsible, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
