Job summary

RMS Recruitment in Corby is seeking a hands-on Strip Fitter Technician to join our state-of-the-art workshop. You will remove and re-fit panels, ensure electrics function after re-trimming, and inspect vehicles for bodywork accuracy before dispatch.

The role operates Monday to Friday with 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shifts, offering £17.80 per hour rising to £21.36 with unsociable hours and overtime premiums. Prior panel trimming experience and a commitment to safety are essential.

Position: Strip Fitter Technician

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Weekly Shift Rotations)

Salary: £17.80 p/h, increasing up to £21.36 including unsociable hours and overtime premiums.

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? You'll work under the Workshop Shift Manager, handling de-trim and re-trim tasks to ensure vehicles are in perfect condition before dispatch.

About you?

To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
