Job summary

SIXT Van & Truck, part of the SIXT Group, is hiring a Mechanic to service and repair a fleet of vans and trucks from our Clydebank depot or at customer sites. The role offers a starting salary of £42,600 per year with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence and have at least 12 months driving experience.
• Proven mechanical qualifications or time served are essential.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and familiarity with workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, engine work, steering, exhausts and transmission.
