Job summary

The AA is looking for a Mobile Mechanic in Greater London, offering a competitive salary of £36,307 – £38,270 (OTE £41,400 – £44,000) based on experience. You will provide first-class service and repair work directly at the customer’s location, ensuring safety and confidence during service.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, proven experience in the field, and a full UK driving licence. Benefits include a fully equipped company van, overtime pay, and a clear career progression path.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix a wide range of vehicle issues, roadside or at appointments.
• Clearly explain diagnostics and repairs to customers.
• Represent the AA as a trusted expert and reassuring presence.
