Job summary

SIXT Newcastle Depot seeks a dedicated Van & Truck Conversion Technician to modify light commercial vehicles and trucks to customer specifications. You will build shelving, install components, and carry out electrical fittings while maintaining safe working practices.

You will join a driven team, using power tools and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality conversions, with a competitive salary, pension, and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and install shelving, racking, and storage systems for vans and trucks.
• Remove and refit external and internal parts as required.
• Fit auto-electrical equipment and wire tow bars.
• Carry out modifications to vans and trucks per customer specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Observe health and safety procedures at all times.
• Plyline commercial vehicles as required.
• Fit security locks and ensure secure vehicle fittings.
