Job summary

Find Recruitment Group LTD seeks a Technical Trainer - Automotive to deliver hands-on training to BMW retailer technicians in Reading. You will train on diagnostics, fault finding and modern vehicle electrical systems while remaining engaged with live workshop activities.

No prior teaching experience is required; training is provided and funded to achieve teaching qualifications. The role blends workshop and classroom sessions in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or experienced Automotive Technician.
• Level 3 Automotive qualification.
• Strong diagnostics and fault-finding experience.
• Good knowledge of modern vehicle and electrical systems.
• Previous training experience is useful, but absolutely not essential.

Technical Trainer - Automotive

Salary: £40,170 + Company Car or £4,200 Car Allowance

Location: Reading

Are you an experienced Senior, Diagnostic or Master Technician considering your next move away from the workshop?

This is an opportunity to use the knowledge you've built throughout your career in a different environment, training and developing technicians across the BMW retailer network.

You'll still be working hands-on with modern vehicles, diagnostics and the latest automotive technology, but without the day-to-day pressures of a busy dealership workshop.

No previous teaching experience is required. If you're coming directly from industry, you'll receive full support and funded teaching qualifications.
