Job summary

SRC Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a maintenance technician with a Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance to join our team in Colchester. You will maintain records, manage Service and Inspection schedules, and ensure tools, equipment and PPE are kept in safe, working order.

You will work across departments, follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies, and perform duties as directed by the Manager. Welding experience is a plus and a fast learner is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience in a busy environment.
• Health and Safety trained or working towards.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take instruction.
• Ability to work with individuals across departments.
• Experience working with vehicles.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for all work completed using Service and Inspection schedules.
• Identify and maintain quantity and functionality of tools and equipment as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure issued Personal Protective Equipment is maintained in a safe and hygienic condition and used throughout duties.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
• Comply with the Factory Production Control Manual in support of SRC Quality Objectives.
• Act in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and practices, highlighting issues appropriately.
• Perform duties as directed by Manager.
