Job summary

Days Rental in Wrexham is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Field Engineer to service a growing regional network. The role combines base workshop work with mobile maintenance across our locations, delivering reliable vehicle care and prompt fault diagnosis.

The candidate will perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and repair vehicles and equipment while reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager as part of our team.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Clean driving licence; D1 entitlement would be advantageous.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance from a base workshop and mobile solutions across an expanding regional branch network.
• Undertake scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults.
• Repair vehicles and equipment.
• Report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a valued team.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Qualified to the NVQ 3 standard or the equivalent City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance
