Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited seeks a Vehicle Inspector for a nationwide service provider, based near Smethwick/Oldbury, with a salary between £29,120 and £31,200 plus holiday, pension, workwear and training.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Vehicle MOT Tester, Vehicle Inspector or Vehicle Mechanic, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to perform safety inspections on HGV vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory safety inspections and diagnostics on HGV vehicles.
• Perform repairs on moving decks and related equipment as required.
• Work Monday to Friday with standard daytime hours.

Are you an experienced VOSA MOT Tester, Vehicle Inspector or Vehicle Mechanic now looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience of conducting safety inspections and assessments on vehicles and strong diagnostics and problem solving skills?

Joining their depot based in Oldbury which is their centre of excellence for moving decks you will be responsible for conducting detailed regulatory safety inspections, diagnostic and performing repairs on moving decks and associated equipment on HGV vehicles.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of working as a Vehicle Mechanic, MOT Tester or a similar capacity; possess a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to provide fast fix repairs to the required regulatory standards.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch.

This position would suit an experienced VOSA MOT Tester or Mechanic now looking for a different challenge but utilise their wealth of experience in testing and inspecting vehicles.
