Job summary

NVD is seeking a Vehicle Handler at the Southampton site to efficiently manage vehicle stock, inspections, and daily dispatch. You will check vehicles on arrival and during dispatch, move 60+ units across storage and loading bays, and perform stock checks to ensure accurate records.

A proactive, safety-focused mindset and a full driving license are essential. Flexibility to work up to six days a week with evening shifts is required, along with comfort driving cars and light commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Full driving license required.
• Willingness to work evenings and up to 6 days a week.
• Positive working attitude with safety awareness.
• Experience with stock checks is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Checking vehicles on arrival and during dispatch.
• Moving 60+ vehicles daily between storage areas and loading bays.
• Performing vehicle-specific inspections.
• Conducting regular stock checks.
• Maintaining and upkeep of vehicle compounds.

Role Summary

The Vehicle Handler is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of vehicle stock. Key duties include the thorough checking and dispatch of vehicles, managing the high-volume movement of 60 or more vehicles daily across storage and loading areas, and performing detailed vehicle-specific inspections and stock checks. The role also involves contributing to the general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle compounds.

• Moving 60+ vehicles per day from within / between storage compounds and loading bays
